These events can be a valuable service to the residents of your community.  Many people in California are not aware of the new legislation that gives all residents of the state cost-free opportunities to recycle their old electronics.   In addition to the benefits that these cost-free events offer residents, businesses and schools, they can also be valuable fundraising events.

Direct Computer Disposal is prepared to offer your organization either of the following two options:

Option 1: Allow Direct Computer Disposal use of one parking lot for the day of the event and assist with passing out flyers to families within the area.  Direct Computer Disposal would handle all logistics and all manpower for the event.  In addition, we can ensure that all material collected at the event will be removed from the property same day. 

Option 2:  Everything stated above plus participation at the event.  Specifically, six volunteers for resident address verification and assistance in unloading the material from cars. 

It is not uncommon for to receive as much as 50,000 pounds of TVs and Monitors and 15,000 pounds of computer towers over a one day event (and twice as much over a two day event).  This means that your high school has the potential to raise anywhere from $2,000 to $12,000 over the course of a one or two day event.
